Jalen Lecque, Terrence Clarke to Brewster Academy

Jalen Lecque is the latest New York City star to transfer high schools.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound guard from The Bronx and Teaneck, N.J., announced he will transfer from Christ School (N.C.) to national powerhouse Brewster Academy (N.H.) for his senior year.

In recent days, New York City stars Cole Anthony and Kofi Cockburn both announced they would transfer to Oak Hill Academy (VA) for their senior seasons.

Nicknamed “Baby Westbrook,” Lecque is being recruited by N.C. State, Kentucky, UCLA, LSU, Boston College, Tennessee, TCU, Oregon and Texas Tech, among others.

Lecque will join Class of 2021 star Terrence Clarke, who also announced Monday he will transfer from The Rivers School (MA) to Brewster, which will also include Kai Jones (2019) and Jamal Mashburn of Team Breakdown and Anthony Walker of Team BBC.
