Jabri Abdur-Rahim, the 6-foot-5 small forward from Blair (NJ) Academy, told ZAGSBLOG Thursday that Villanova, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Kansas, and Harvard are the schools currently recruiting him the hardest. He broke down each school:
Villanova: “The most appealing thing about Nova is that they win. They have a winning program with a winning coach, and I like to win.”
Georgia: “I have a great relationship with the coaching staff, and my uncle coaches there too.
Michigan: “I like the way they play. I also like coach [John] Beilein.
Kansas: “I took a visit there last year and really enjoyed myself. I love the campus. The fans were great and I watched practice. I really liked the team they had. It was just an overall great experience.”
Harvard: “It speaks for itself. It’s obviously a great school and I really like the head coach [Tommy Amaker].
Ohio State: “I have a nice relationship with one of the assistant coaches. They’re well connected with my high school.”Earlier this year, Abdur-Rahim announced his intentions to transfer from Seton Hall (NJ) Prep to Blair Academy.
According to 247Sports, Abdur-Rahim is ranked as the No. 31 overall player in the Class of 2020 and the No. 1 player from the state of New Jersey.
