DeAndre Wilkins to Wagner

DeAndre Wilkins, the 6-foot-10, 245-pound center from Great Bridge Christian Academy (N.C.), committed to Wagner on Monday, he told ZAGSBLOG.

Wilkins averged 8 points and 4 rebounds last season at Wesleyan Christian (N.C.).

“Wagner is a good academic school with a physical style of play on the basketball side of things and what I will bring is a strong post presence and high intensity on both ends of the floor,” he said.

Wilkins is the first Class of 2019 commit for coach Bashir Mason and his staff.
