Barack Obama, Spike Lee, Ken Griffey Jr. among star-studded crowd for North Carolina-Duke

Barack Obama, Spike Lee and Ken Griffey Jr. are among the stars in attendance for the North Carolina-Duke game on Wednesday at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Duke freshman sensation Zion Williamson went down in the opening seconds of the game with a knee injury and did not return.

Looks like Zion’s mom and stepdad are headed back to the locker room to check on him. His mom just stepped over Chris Carawell on the bench to get out of the stands

Lee wore a Knicks a hoodie and is no doubt hoping the Knicks land Williamson with the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft. They currently have a 14 percent chance.

“The Zion Effect” has triggered more fans to come from further away to see Duke home and away games.

One fan reportedly paid $10,000 for a ticket on Wednesday.

LeBron James was highly impressed when he saw the 6-foot-7, 285-pound Williamson against Virginia.

“What strikes me?” he told ESPN. “His agility and his quicknesss. For his size, how strong he is, to be able to move like the way he moves, he’s very impressive.”

Obama is a noted Carolina fan who has picked the Heels to win the NCAA title on multiple occasions.

“I love him,” Carolina coach Roy Williams said Monday of Obama. “But if he’s coming to the game, I’m sorry Mr. President but I’m not going to be looking at you.

“And I do love him. I though he was great for our country, but during that game it’s ‘Frankly,
my dear.'”
