Jemarl Baker, the 6-foot-4 transfer guard from Kentucky, announced his pledge to Arizona.
After playing in 28 of the Wildcats’ games this year, he averaged 2.3 points on 32.8 percdent shooting from the field. His most notable game came from a win over Wofford where he played 18 minutes and pitched in 8 points.
Baker will have to sit out a year but is expected to make an impact for Arizona during the 2020-21 season. He is known to be an excellent shooter from deep and is also a sound defender.
According to 247sports, Baker was ranked as the No. 73 prospect nationally and No. 15 center. He originally chose K etnucky over Cal, Duke, and Marquette.
