  • Villanova at Ohio State, Michigan State at Seton Hall highlight Gavitt Games

    The 2019 Gavitt Tipoff Games will feature matchups between Villanova and Ohio State and Michigan State and Seton Hall.

    The Gavitt Games is an annual series between the BIG EAST and Big Ten Conferences and named in honor of Dave Gavitt, founder of the BIG EAST and basketball visionary.  The series continues this season with games being played at home sites. The Gavitt Tipoff Games will annually be played in the first full week of the basketball season.

    Here’s the full schedule with TV times and networks:

    Monday, Nov. 11 DePaul 93, Iowa 78 8 p.m. Box Score | Recap
    Tuesday, Nov. 12 Creighton at Michigan 6:30 p.m. FS1
    Minnesota at Butler 8:30 p.m. FS1
