Four high school teams from New York and New Jersey are featured in the USA Today Super 25 preseason poll.

Led by superstar junior forward Jonathan Kuminga, The Patrick School in Hillside, N.J., is ranked No. 4 nationally. The 6-foot-8 Kuminga recently issued a Top 10 list that includes Duke, Kentucky, Auburn and LSU, among others.

Long Island Lutheran chimes in at No. 9. The reigning New York State Federation champions have three high-major Division 1 commits in point guard Andre Curbelo (Illinois), wing Jalen Celestine (Cal) and power forward Zed Key. LuHi has a loaded schedule, including a date in February with Bronny James, Zaire Wade, B.J Boston and No. 8 Sierra Canyon.

Roselle (N.J.) Catholic, which has won three New Jersey Tournament of Champions titles under coach Dave Boff since 2013, is No. 24. The Lions feature three committed Division 1 prospects in point guard Richie Greaves (Binghamton), shooting guard Niels Lane (Florida) and wing C.J. Wilcher (Xavier). RC also features uncommitted 2020 big man Cliff Omoruyi, who is being courted by Auburn, Kentucky, Rutgers and UConn, among others.

No. 25 Archbishop Stepinac (N.Y.) is led by 2020 North Carolina commit R.J. Davis and 2021 Duke pledge A.J. Griffin, a projected Top 10 NBA Draft pick in 2022.

Montverde (FL) Academy, led by former St. Patrick coach Kevin Boyle, is the No. 1 team and features numerous high-major players, including Cade Cunningham (Oklahoma State), Day’Ron Sharpe (UNC) and Moses Moody (Arkansas).
