    With little more than a week before the beginning of the NCAA early signing period, Rutgers suffered a huge recruiting loss when Kwe Parker decommitted from the Scarlet Knights.

    4_2970905The 6-foot-2 2016 point guard from Wesleyan (N.C.) Christian also considered Wake Forest, Florida and Florida State. He would have been eligible to sign a National Letter of Intent during the early period Nov. 11-18.

    “I think Kwe is like a Russ Smith, that’s how he plays,” Karolina Diamonds coach Kevin Graves told SNY.tv when Parker committed.

    Rutgers’ coach Eddie Jordan now has no commits in the Class of 2016.
