Oregon transfer C.J. Walker has committed to Central Florida.

The Sanford, Fla., native will have to sit the 2020-21 season unless he obtains a waiver. He announced last week he would transfer closer to home due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“UCF was home and gives him an opportunity to be home during these unprecedented times,” said his mentor Marcus Robinson.

Walker, a 6-foot-8, 200-pound small forward, averaged 4.0 points. 2.5 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game during the 2019-20 season. He started in seven games and appeared in 28 games for the Ducks.

As a recruit, Walker was ranked by 247Sports.com as the No. 6 power forward and No. 28 overall player in the Class of 2019.
