New Texas coach Chris Beard adds to monster week with addition of Creighton transfer Christian Bishop

New Texas coach Chris Beard added to his monster week on Friday with the addition of Creighton transfer Christian Bishop.
The 6-foot-7 Missouri native averaged 11.0 points and 6.4 rebounds for the Bluejays and should be an important glue guy and veteran leader as Beard takes over the Longhorns.
Earlier this week, Beard added both point guard Devin Askew (Kentucky) and forward Timmy Allen(Utah) while retaining veteran guard Andrew Jones.
Beard also finalized a loaded coaching staff that includes Rodney Terry as associate head coach plus former Texas Tech assistant Ulric Maligi and former Kansas assistant Jerrance Howard.
