Skyy Clark, a five-star guard according to 247 Sports’ composite rankings, will announce his college choice Thursday evening at halftime of the 5:30 p.m. game on ESPNU.
He is down to six schools in Illinois, Louisville, Tennessee, USC, Maryland, and Washington, with Illinois and USC considered the favorites.
The 6-foot-3 Montverde Academy (FL) product decommitted from Kentucky in March. Illinois coach Brad Underwood and assistant Tim Anderson held an in-home visit with Clark recently, sources said. With the Illini seeing a severe loss in backcourt depth, most recently Andre Curbelo’s transfer, Champaign seems like a very possible destination for Clark. USC is also the local school for him since he’s a California native.
