Jamarion Sharp announces he’ll remain at Western Kentucky
By ADAM ZAGORIAJamarion Sharp, the 7-foot-5 big man from Western Kentucky, announced he will remain at his current school instead of transferring.
Sharp averaged 8.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and a nation’s-best 4.6 blocks in 32 games as a junior at Western Kentucky en route to being named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year. He had 148 blocks last season.

A contributor to The New York Times and SportsNet New York (SNY), he is also the author of two books and is an award-winning journalist and filmmaker. His articles have appeared in ESPN The Magazine, SLAM, Sheridan Hoops, Basketball Times and in newspapers nationwide. A veteran Ultimate Frisbee player, he has competed in numerous National and World Championships and, perhaps more importantly, his teams won the Westchester Summer League (WSL) championships in 2011 and 2013.
