Naismith Hall of Fame and Nike Set to Host Chosen-1’s Invitational

The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced Friday The Chosen-1’s Invitational, a high school event in partnership with Nike and four-time NBA champion LeBron James, will return to Los Angeles on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at the Galen Center on the campus of the University of Southern California (USC).
In the second year of the four-game showcase, the event will feature La Jolla (CA) Country Day (girls), Mater Dei (CA) High School (boys and girls), Sierra Canyon (CA) High School (boys and girls), St. Vincent-St. Mary’s (OH) High School (boys and girls), and Wheeler (GA) High School (boys).
“The Basketball Hall of Fame could not be more thrilled to partner with Nike and LeBron James for the second year of this dynamic event and continue to build upon the excitement that last year’s showcase brought to the city of Los Angeles,” John L. Doleva, President and CEO of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, said in a statement. “We look forward to this year’s new home, the Galen Center, and thank USC for their support and commitment to cultivating a first-class experience for the high school programs and their fans.”
The event will feature on-site activations by Nike, providing all fans in attendance the opportunity to take home select Nike-branded items.

3:00 PM – Mater Dei vs. St. Vincent-St. Mary’s (Girls)
4:30 PM – Mater Dei vs. St. Vincent-St. Mary’s (Boys)
6:30 PM – Sierra Canyon vs. La Jolla Country Day (Girls)
8:00 PM – Sierra Canyon vs. Wheeler (Boys)
