Washington State transfer TJ Bamba is down to two schools and will announce his college choice April 14, he told ZAGSBLOG.
He visited both Villanova and Georgia Tech from April 6-9.
“Playing in the NBA is my main focus right now as I’m doing my pre-draft stuff but if I return to college, playing in front of family every home game is a priority of mine,” he said.
“Villanova is a 2-hour drive from my Bronx, N.Y. home and Atlanta is where I have over a dozen family members. Both universities also have rigorous and prestigious graduate programs which interest me as well considering I’m scheduled to graduate from Washington State in only 3 years . These are the only two schools I’m considering and plan to have a decision made by Friday.”
The 6-foot-5 junior from The Bronx averaged 15.8 points and 3.7 rebounds last season while shooting 43% from the field and 37% from deep.
