Oregon transfer Kel’el Ware commits to Indiana

Oregon transfer Kel’el Ware has committed to Indiana, he announced on social media.

One of five 2022 McDonald’s All-Americans transferring this year, the 7-foot Ware is ranked the No. 2 transfer per 247Sports.com. He averaged 6.6 points and 4.1 rebounds last season with the Ducks.

Ware visited Indiana last week and then canceled a visit to Alabama, which saw three of its assistants leave for head coaching jobs at other schools. At Indiana, he will help fill the void left by projected first-round pick Trayce Jackson-Davis.
