One day after Duke fell out of The Associated Press top 25 for the first time since 2007, the Blue Devils were dealt some more bad news.

Head coach Mike Krzyzewski will miss Tuesday’s game against Georgia Tech and associate head coach Jeff Capel will run the show.

“After the team meal last evening, he was feeling under the weather and stayed back in Durham, where he was evaluated at Duke University Hospital and directed by his doctors to remain home,” the school said in a statement. “Associate head coach Jeff Capel will coach the team in tonight’s game at Georgia Tech. Coach Krzyzewski is expected to return to the team soon.”

Capel went 175-110 (.614) as the head coach at VCU and Oklahoma.
