Iona coach Tobin Anderson landed a huge addition with elite 3-point shooter, Wheza Panzo, a graduate transfer from Stetson.
The 6-foot-7 Panzo averaged 8.6 points and 4.6 rebounds last season while shooting 47% from deep on more than five attempts per game. He was the second leading 3-point shooter in the nation.
“I picked Tobin because he believed in my ability and I think with the style of play and the freedom he gives his players I could excel,” he said. “I bring versatility, shooting, and leadership.”
Iona now has 11 new additions and will return 7-footer Osborn Shema.
Anderson has one scholarship remaining.
