The Orange lost senior starters Joe Girard (Clemson) and Jesse Edwards (West Virginia) to the portal, meaning Mintz will be a key returner for Autry. Syracuse also returns starting forwards Benny Williams and Chris Bell, while adding four transfers in JJ Starling (Notre Dame), Chance Westry (Auburn), Naheem McLeod (Florida State) and Kyle Cuffe Jr. (Kansas). Syracuse finished 17-15 a year ago, 10-10 in the ACC, and missed the NCAA Tournament.
