Tobias Harris cut his list on Friday and is now enjoying his first official visit to Syracuse this weekend.
“I’m having a great time,” the 6-foot-8 Harris said by text.
Harris watched Greg Paulus and the Orange football team beat up on Maine, 41-24.
According to Harris’ Twitter feeds, he spent time with Syracuse players Wes Johnson, Rick Jackson, Scoop Jardine and Kris Joseph.
He’s also been in touch with Minnesota Timberwolves and former Syracuse guard Jonny Flynn via Twitter.
“J_Flynn lol I knoow man …i’m going to be up all night playing basketball @ w_Johnson and @scoopjardine11 and@krisjo32.. I’am! Lol”
Syracuse would seem in good position to land Harris because his father, Torrel, owns property in Albany and two Orange commits, Fab Melo and C.J. Fair, play for Torrel’s AAU team, the Unique All-Stars.
Harris also plans to visit Louisville and Kentucky, leaving two other officials for the rest of his list.
