Isaiah Johnson-Arigu, the four-star small forward from Minneapolis (MN) Totino-Grace, has committed to Miami.
He chose the Hurricanes over Iowa, Northwestern, Texas Tech, and Virginia Tech.
“What made me pick Miami was the combination of my opportunity on and off the basketball court,” he told ZAGSBLOG. “Very good academic school and the school provides everything I need to get to the next level. I would be surrounded by people who share the same goal as me and a coaching staff who understands their players.
He added: “The skillset I would bring would be doing a little bit of everything. Trying to guard the other team’s best guy, getting defensive stops as well as filling any role I need to offensively. Just being that versatile forward.”
Miami is also the favorite to land Archbishop Wood (PA) guard Jalil Bethea, who is slated to announce Wednesday.
