Flagg visited Duke — which features his former Montverde teammate Sean Stewart –– unofficially in August. He will return for their “Countdown to Craziness” beginning Oct. 20. Montverde (FL) Academy coach Kevin Boyle, who has coached three No. 1 picks, seven top-3 picks, nine lottery picks, 16 first-round picks and 19 current NBA players, said Flagg is “unique” among players he’s coached. “He’s right up there with anyone [I’ve coached],” Boyle said. “His talent and his versatility makes him very unique. His size, his ability to fill up a stat sheet are incredibly special. He can have 10 points and be very instrumental with a handful of assists and deflections and blocked shots and defending the key player on the other team. “He can be such an incredibly valuable player in today’s NBA world because of his versatility that is really unique.” Follow Adam Zagoria on Twitter Follow ZAGSBLOGHoops on Instagram And Like ZAGS on FacebookCooper Flagg on his @UConnMBB visit and posing with his UConn host @clingan_donovan

Cooper Flagg has canceled his upcoming visit to Kansas and will next visit Duke the weekend of Oct. 20, his mother told ZAGSBLOG.
The 6-foot-8 Flagg visited UConn last weekend and was originally slated to visit Kansas Oct. 6-8.
At UConn, he was hosted by sophomore big man Donovan Clingan and posed for pictures with him where the two held up a flag of the state of Maine. The mothers of both players played at Maine in the 1990s. One source close to the situation said Flagg’s visit went “very well.”
