Arizona State adds Milwaukee transfer BJ Freeman

Coach Bobby Hurley and Arizona State landed a big-time addition on Friday in Milwaukee transfer BJ Freeman.

The 6-foot-6 junior averaged 21.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists while shooting 35% from deep.

Arizona State had seven players transfer out after last season when they finished 14-18, 8-12 in the Pac-12.

The Sun Devils are headed to the Big 12 next season.
