Hofstra coach Speedy Claxton continued the overhaul of his 2024-25 roster as he announced the addition of Michael Graham to the squad.
“Michael adds some much-needed size to our roster,” said Claxton. “Depth is going to be really important for us and Michael can help us immensely in the front court.”
Graham, a 6-foot-8 forward who hails from Brooklyn, New York, played the last two seasons at Loyola Marymount University after his first two seasons were at Elon University.
Graham played in 62 games with 12 starts at LMU, while totaling 232 points, 298 rebounds, 49 blocked shots, 14 assists, and 13 steals. He shot 107-157 from the field, good for 68.2% and LMU’s all-time field goal percentage leader. He is also 24th all-time at LMU in career blocks.
In two seasons at Elon, he played in 49 games with 32 starts. He scored 369 points with 272 rebounds, along with 58 blocked shots, 29 assists, and 17 steals. He was the Phoenix’s most improved player in 2020-21.
Graham attended Xaverian High School where he averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds as a senior and earned Second Team All-CHSAA honors. A three-star recruit out of high school, he was ranked top 10 in the state of New York by both 247 Sports and Rivals.
