Fresh off a Final Four run, Kevin Keatts and NC State now have momentum in 2025 recruiting. Top-100 shooting guard Ricardo Greer Jr. announced his commitment to the Wolfpack via his Instagram page on Sunday, giving NC State its first recruit in the class.
Greer, the 6-foot-4, 170-pound guard from Archbishop Alter (OH), was fresh of a visit to NC State from June 6-8. He chose the Wolfpack over Cincinnati and Penn State.
The guard is the No. 100 overall prospect in the 2025 class per 247Sports and the No. 15 overall shooting guard.
“I chose NC State because they made me feel at home, and the coaching staff showed how much they wanted me,” Greer told On3. “The staff is great. They all seem super genuine and Keatts made an effort to spend time with us.”
