Class of 2025 three-star power forward Damon Friery has committed to Dayton, he announced on X.com.

Friery — the 6-foot-9, 210-pound forward from St. Ignatius and the Wildcat Select Adidas 3SSB AAU program — becomes Dayton’s first commit in the 2025 class.

“Thank you to coach [Anthony] Grant, coach [Jermaine] Henderson and the rest of the staff for recruiting and believing in me,” Friery said in his announcement post.

The power forward is ranked the No. 149 player in the 2025 class and the No. 3 player in the state of Ohio. Friery’s current high school is about three hours from Dayton’s campus.
