Class of 2025 three-star shooting guard Antione West has committed to Purdue and Matt Painter, he announced on Tuesday.

West — the 6-foot-3, 175-pound guard from Whitmer (OH) and the All Ohio Red Nike EYBL AAU program — chose Purdue over his other finalists Dayton, Nebraska and Ohio State.

“I’ve chosen Purdue just because they not only fit my playstyle, but me as person,” West told ZAGSBLOG. “They need a versatile lead guard who can create for himself and others in many different ways, and thats what they believe — and I believe — I can bring to their program.”

Across 12 regular season EYBL games, West averaged 10.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. He also grabbed 19 total steals.

Purdue now has its first commit in the 2025 class.
