They are in the mix for some other prospects in the class, including four-star forward Niko Bundalo, and guards Meleek Thomas and Acaden Lewis have also visited campus officially. “We’ve lost a lot of high-end talent,” Hurley said Tuesday. at Big East Media Day. “I think that this recruiting class for us in ’25 is to bring in high-end talent, players that potentially will be early-entry level players that we can bring in to this class that we identify that way in ’25 and ’26. “We’ve just lost seven NBA players over the course of two years, which is a lot, so we gotta replenish that high-end, NBA talent, so Kimani [Young] and Luke [Murray], know what they’ve been tasked with.” Hurley added: “If we keep getting the right type of people, we’re not gonna go anywhere.” Photo: ESPN Follow Adam Zagoria on Twitter Follow ZAGSBLOGHoops on Instagram And Like ZAGS on FacebookScouting Braylon Mullins:

Five-star guard Braylon Mullins committed to UConn on Wednesday as Huskies head coach Dan Hurley said he was committed to adding more “early-entry level talent” in this year’s recruiting class.
The 6-foot-5 Mullins, the No. 4-rated shooting guard in the Class of 2025 per 247Sports.com and one of the purest shooters in the class, chose the Huskies over Indiana and North Carolina.
“I’m going to continue my academic and athletic career at the University of Connecticut,” Mullins said on his 247 announcement.
“I felt like it was the best spot for me out of the three finalists I had. I didn’t want to play for any other coach than Coach Hurley. He’s a players’ coach and player development was definitely a key piece for my development and I knew he would get me somewhere with my goals so I wanted to play for him.”
“He’s a sure scorer at every level,” said Greenfield-Central (IN) coach Luke Meredith. “He’s the best shooter in the country, in my opinion. High basketball IQ and elite passer with both hands.”
Mullins joins combo guard Darius Adams and 7-footer Eric Reibe in UConn’s 2025 class.
