  • Federer Wins 5th Straight U.S. Open

    Roger Federer just captured his fifth straight U.S. Open title with a thorough thrashing of Andy Murray of Scotland, 6-2, 7-5, 6-2. Read the story here on SNY.tv.

    Even boxing promoter Don King, who promoted a potential Federer-Nadal final as the “Grapple in the Apple,” was impressed. He burst into the press conference and said, “Oh, Roger, what a great tennis player.”

    Among the celebs at the match were Johan Santana of the Mets, Jorge Posada of the Yankees, Mario Lemieux, Sidney Crosby, Paul Simon, Anne Hathaway, Gene Wilder, Tom Brokaw and Richard Branson.
