Oak Hill Academy guard Doron Lamb has cut his list to four schools.

The 6-foot-4 Lamb, a Queens, N.Y. native ranked No. 3 among shooting guards in the Class of 2010, is considering West Virginia, Kentucky, Kansas and Arizona.

UConn and Oklahoma had previously been in the mix.

The news was first reported by BlueGoldNews.com.

Lamb scored 20 points  Saturday when Oak Hill downed Decatur (Ga.) Columbia, 63-56, in the Primetime Shootout at the West Virginia Coliseum.

He then watched as West Virginia came from behind to beat Ohio State, 71-65.

“He met with the coaches. His mom and dad met with the coaches down in West Virginia,” Oak Hill coach Steve Smith said. “So he probably made an unofficial visit during his trip down there.”

Lamb played on the New York Gauchos with current West Virginia freshman Danny Jennings, and the Mounties roster features several other New York-area players in Devin Ebanks, Kevin Jones and Darryl “Truck” Bryant.

He has taken visits to Kansas, Kentucky and, most recently, Arizona.

Lamb previously said he was looking for “a good coaching staff, a winning program and somewhere that I feel like home and I feel comfortable.”

Asked when he might decide, Lamb said, “Probably April.”
