In this video interview with Scoutsfocus.com, Kadeem Jack says he plans to take a “couple” college visits before making a decision. “I decided to take a couple more visits and then decide after that,” said the 6-foot-9 Jack, a senior at Manhattan Rice High School. Damian Leslie, Jack’s mentor, said Jack has two officials left, but no specific dates have yet been set for visits to North Carolina or Kentucky. “Originally I decided I was going to go to South Kent (Conn.) for a year, but a couple new schools came into my recruitment,” Jack said. “North Carolina, Kentucky.” He added that Steve Robinson was recruiting him to the Tar Heels and Orlando Antigua to the Wildcats. Jack said he was still mulling Arizona, Arkansas and Miami as well. Of those schools he said his interest level was “very high because they recruited me from the beginning.” Jack had initially decided to spend a year prepping at South Kent, but added, “I guess some people think my talent is good enough to play [Division 1] next year.” “Most of the schools think I can come in and make a big contribution,” he added.
