The Kadeem Jack situation has fluctuated as wildly as the stock market in recent weeks.

Initially, the 6-foot-9 Rice High School product said he was considering Arizona, Arkansas, Miami and UConn.

Then he opted to attend prep school at South Kent (Conn.)

Once Kentucky and North Carolina became involved, he said he would visit those schools.

Now he’s back to saying he will attend South Kent.

“Yea,” Jack wrote Monday by text.

**6-7 forward Karron Johnson says he’s decommitted from Oklahoma State.

“Karron wants to open back up his recruitment. He does not want to attend Oklahoma State,” James Black, Johnson’s mentor, said in a phone message.

Johnson spent this past season at Moberly (Mo.) Area Community College where he was voted NJCAA Region 16 Player of the Year.

A native of Richmond, Va., Johnson played in 24 games and missed three due to a suspension for violating team rules. He led the region by averaging 22 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.

**Jordan Goodman, a 6-9 Maryland power forward who has reclassified to the Class of 2012, has decommitted from Georgetown and will visit Rutgers June 3-4, Scout.com reported.

“He committed to Georgetown because of Dave Cox,” DC Assault coach Damon Handon said in a phone interview, referring to the new associate head coach at Rutgers. “Dave Cox is at Rutgers now.”

Handon said Goodman, who has attended multiple high schools and will not return to Progressive (Md.) Christian next season, had definitely reclassified to the Class of 2012 from 2011.

    “He’ll be 2012,” Handon said.

Handon said Goodman can be an impact player wherever he lands.

“He’s a very good player,” Handon said. “He’s 6-9. He can play on the perimeter. His potential is endless. He definitely would have to work over these next couple of years, but the kid has a chance to be a special player.”

**6-7 French national Remi Barry of Del Oro (Calif.) High School will visit St. John’s either the first or second weekend of June, following visits to St. Mary’s and Arizona State. He recently visited UCLA as well.

**Carrick Felix, a 6-5 small forward from the College of Southern Idaho, has asked for a release from his Letter of Intent to Duke.

Duke spokesman Matt Plizga confirmed Monday by text that Duke will grant the release, but that the paperwork had yet to be completed.

Felix averaged 14.8 points and 4.7 rebounds last season at Southern Idaho.
