Oakland Soldiers point guard Josiah Turner is lining up his visits.

“He’s going to Louisville, Kansas, UConn, Oregon and Arizona,” said Soldiers coach Derrick Artis.

Here’s how the visits break down:

    Sept. 4 – Louisville

    Sept. 10/11 – UConn

    Sept. 17 – Oregon (tentative)

    Oct. 15 – Kansas

    Oct. 22 – Arizona

Turner’s mother, Doris Ward, said he is also considering Oklahoma and UCLA, but he has already visited UCLA unofficially.

“I don’t have any  leaders or favorites,” Turner said recently. “That’s my top [schools].”

He says he won’t decide until “after I go on my officials.”

The Soldiers had a tremendous summer, winning tournaments in Las Vegas (Fab 48)  and Anaheim (Pumps), the latter without Turner.

Wherever he goes, Turner says he’ll bring “a point guard that can score.”
