Apparently the weather and the girls in Orlando helped persuade Michael Chandler.

Having already committed to Louisville and Xavier, the 6-foot-10 senior center from Lawrence (IN) North verbally committed to Central Florida Friday during his visit.

“Yes I have,” he told Alex Kline of The Recruit Scoop. “I love Coach (Donnie) Jones. I really love the program.”

He added: “He has worked with bigs and sent them to the league. That was key for me. I loved how he was honest with me about everything.”

As for having committed twice before, Chandler told The Recruit Scoop:  “I know I have said this (committing) two times before, but this is my final decision and I will sign with them.”

Lawrence North coach Jack Keefer previously said Chandler, the No. 4 center in the Class of 2011, needed to improve his test score to qualify.
