  • Rutgers Sees Opportunity in St. John’s Game

    PISCATAWAY, N.J. — Dane Miller watched St. John’s absolutely throttle defending NCAA champion Duke, 93-78, Sunday afternoon on national television.

    And he knows that hypes up Wednesday’s Rutgers-St. John’s game (9 p.m., SNY) just that much more.

    “Now we get to go on Wednesday and get that win,” Miller, Rutgers’ sophomore wing, said Monday after practice. “It makes Wednesday’s win even bigger because they beat the No. 3 team in the country.”
