Daniel Ochefu, the No. 6 center in the Class of 2012 out of The Westtown (Pa.) School, has verbally committed to Villanova over Georgetown, Temple and Texas, according to Alex Kline of The Recruit Scoop.

“I am really excited to be committing to Villanova because I really liked Coach [Jay] Wright and his assistants,” said the 6-foot-10, 215-pound Ochefu. “I liked the fact that it’s close to my family and that my high school is only 20 minutes away so my family and friends can come see me play. I also like the recruiting classes they have coming into Villanova in the next couple of years.”

Ochefu joins point guard Ryan Arcidiacono of Neshaminy (Pa.) and wing Savon Goodman of Academy of the New Church in Villanova’s 2012 class.
