According to Aaric Murray’s Twitter account, he is headed to West Virginia.

“I’m the newest member of the west Virginia team!” the 6-foot-10 Murray Tweeted while on a visit to the Morgantown campus.

When Marreese Speights of the Philadelphia 76ers asked Murray on Twitter if that’s where he was going, Murray responded: “Yo yeah bro.”

Murray has also been to Oklahoma State, which is also involved with 6-8 forward Jamari Traylor of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academies.

West Virginia, which has one scholarship remaining, was Murray’s second option after committing to La Salle in 2008.

Murray opted to transfer from La Salle after averaging 15.2 points and 7.7 rebounds last season. He will have to sit out a year per NCAA transfer regulations.
