Daniel Dingle, a 6-foot-7 forward from St. Raymond’s in the Bronx, has cut his list to seven schools.
Dingle is down to Temple, Auburn, Arizona, UMass, Seton Hall, Maryland and Missouri.
“That’s where he’s at as far as the particular schools and why he wanted to leave those seven and cut it there,” his brother, Dana, told SNY.tv by phone. “There’s no true favorite.
“He’s going to do those [seven] home visits in September when school starts. And after those seven home visits, he will choose three schools to take official visits in October. And after he takes those three, he will see how it goes. If he likes one of them, then he will commit and sign. If not then he will choose two more and go from there.
“There’s a 90 percent chance he’s going to commit and sign in the early signing period. It’s a good list of different types of schools , different conferences. They all offer different things.”
