T.J. Warren, the No. 6 small forward in the Class of 2012, will announce his college choice on Wednesday, according to Scout.com.

    “Decision to come,” Warren tweeted.

A Raleigh, N.C., native playing at Brewster (N.H.) Academy, Warren will choose between Georgetown and N.C. State.

“I would assume, and I really don’t know for sure, that T.J. would like to go to one of those schools that are close to his home in N.C.,” Brewster teammate Mitch McGary wrote in his blog entry on ESPN.com. “That’s just my guess.”

North Carolina had also been recruiting the 6-foot-6 wing, but on Tuesday landed a pledge from 6-9 Brice Johnson. The Tar Heels have given our four scholarships in the Class of 2012.

    MARQUETTE LANDS BIG MAN

Aaron Durley, a 6-foot-10, 270-pound center from George Bush High School in Fort Bend, Texas, pledged to Marquette over South Florida, South Alabama, and Tennessee-Chattanooga, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

“I just thought it was the better fit,” Durley told the paper. “Coach (Buzz) Williams does a great job up there with his players and the program. When I came up there for an official visit two weeks ago, I liked it and I could see myself playing and getting a lot better. So it just felt like a good fit to me.”

Current Marquette center Chris Otule also went to Bush High School and Durley said he had played pickup games with Otule. Marquette point guard Junior Cadougan also went to high school in the Houston area, and Durley knows him as well.
