Former Pittsburgh forward Khem Birch “will decide his school [Sunday] night,” his mother, Wendy, told SNY.tv by text.
The 6-foot-9 Birch is expected to choose UNLV, Florida or New Mexico State after visiting all three this week.
Alex Kline of The Recruit Scoop reported the former McDonald’s All-American will likely land at UNLV or Florida.
Wendy said “it’s more than likely” he will choose one of the schools he’s visited.
Birch averaged 4.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.9 blocks for Pitt, but parted ways because he wasn’t comfortable with how he was being used by the Panthers.
He will have to sit out a year after his transfer.
