GREENBURGH, N.Y. — The Knicks recalled 7-foot center Jerome Jordan and 6-3 point guard Jeremy Lin from the NBA D-League and both players practice Monday.
They were both sent to Erie on Jan. 17.
With Josh Harrellson now out six weeks with a fractured right wrist, Jordan becomes the third-string center behind Tyson Chandler and Jared Jeffries.
Lin stands little chance of seeing much time, especially with Baron Davis’ debut imminent in the next week or so.
“That’s why we brought the two kids back from the D-League and we’ll be able to go three-on-three , four-on-four, maybe even five-on-five, but we’ll have enough to where we can practice,” Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni said of the Harrellson injury.
