Former Western Kentucky guard Derrick Gordon took his third visit to an Atlantic 10 program this weekend.
The former St. Patrick standout has now been to UMass, St. Joe’s and Rhody.
“Having the time of my life up here at Rhode Island…Coach Hurley is funny,” Gordon Tweeted in reference to Rhody coach Dan Hurley.
“Really enjoying my time up here at Rhode Island…My boy@JarelleReischel is also up here…Having a good time,” he added.
As the coach at St. Benedict’s Prep, Hurley coached against Gordon while he was at St. Pat’s.
Since leaving Wagner for Rhode Island, Hurley has already landed transfers Gillie Biruta (Rutgers) and Jarelle Reischel (Rice), as well as former Wagner pledge Mike Aaman, a 6-8 forward from Raritan High, and 6-9 Jordan Hare of Saginaw, Mich.
