Mississippi State transfer Rodney Hood will visit Duke beginning Friday, sources told SNY.tv.

The 6-foot-7 Hood has already visited Ohio State and Memphis and is said to be considering those three schools.

If he picks Memphis, he would be eligible when the Tigers join the Big East Conference for the 2013-14 season. Memphis is also involved with Virginia Tech transfer Dorian Finney-Smith, who just finished up a visit.

If Hood lands at Duke, he would provide another athletic wing player in 2013 along with 2012 signee Amile Jefferson of Philly Friends Central.

Hood averaged 10.3 points and 4.8 rebounds in his only season at MSU, and earned Freshman All-SEC honors.
