    ALEXANDRIA, Va
. — Rondae Jefferson can now add acting to his list of accomplishments.

Already a talented basketball player, the 6-foot-7 wing from Chester (Pa.) recently starred with Rashawn Tucker in a re-make of a classic Spike Lee commercial (above).

“Rashawn Tucker called me and he told me about the whole video and he said I was the only guy around that area. He said, ‘Let’s make it happen.’ And I’m not a guy to turn anybody down,” Jefferson said  after going for 17 points and 8 rebounds Friday evening as his USA Midwest team crushed Lithuania, 101-66, in the Nike Global Challenge at Episcopal High School.

On top of the commercial, Jefferson is happy to be back playing with “USA” on his chest after he missed the U17 World Championship in Lithuania with a shoulder injury.

“[My shoulder] feels my much better, it’s 100 percent and I’m just working,” Jefferson said.

Jefferson recently cut his list to seven schools — Arizona, Texas, Florida, Memphis, Temple, Rutgers and Syracuse — and all seven were represented by head or assistant coaches at Episcopal High School.

Still, Jefferson said he’s focused less on the coaches and more on the game itself. He lets his mother and family handle his recruitment.

“I don’t talk to any of them,” he said. “They call my mom.”

Jefferson said he’s looking “for a winning program, coaches that prepare you for the next level and great environment.”

He’s planning on announcing on his 18th birthday, Jan. 3.

“It seems like a good day, I think everything’s going to fall in to place,” he said. “I think everything’s going to be perfect.”

Even if he decides before, he says he’s going to wait to announce.

“I’m going to stick it out,” he said.
