Hallice Cooke, one of the top shooting guards in the Class of 2013 out of the Sports U AAU program and two-time defending New Jersey Tournament of Champions winner St. Anthony, will be contributing periodically to ZAGSBLOG entering his senior season. Here’s his third entry:

    What’s up, basketball world?

As you all know AAU season is now over, and I must say I miss it already. I had a great summer playing and winning with my Sports U teammates.

Now that that’s over I spent the past week working former Richmond Spider Carlos Cueto’s camp. I had a great time teaching and coaching the young kids.

I also participated in two all-star games at Hamilton Park. I enjoyed playing alongside my good friend Reggie Cameron. It was about time he and I played on the same team since we’ve been on opposing teams since we were 10 years old.

As far as recruiting goes, I have recently cut my list down to Oregon State, Penn State, Richmond, Dayton, St. Joe’s & Rhode Island. I will be taking an unofficial to Penn State this Wednesday with my backcourt mate, Josh Brown.

I also have an official set up to Oregon State on Sept. 8th. I also plan on visiting the other schools on my list within the next two months. Special s/o to my St. Michael’s Family as well as my Sports U Family.
