Tyler Roberson, a 6-foot-8 forward from Roselle (N.J.) Catholic, has set up three official visits.

Roberson will visit SMU Sept. 27, Syracuse Oct. 5 and Kansas Oct. 12 for “Late Night in the Phog.”

“I set up the three visits,” Roberson told SNY.tv by phone after the news was first reported by JayhawkSlant.com.

“I felt comfortable with taking visits there.”

On SMU: “I like Larry Brown. He has a lot of experience as a coach.”

On Syracuse: “Their style of play fits me.”

On Kansas: “They have a lot of history as a school.”

Roberson also has home visits on Sunday with SMU and South Carolina, on Monday with Seton Hall and on Sept. 16 with Alabama.

Kentucky assistant Orlando Antigua is also due to watch Roberson work out at Roselle Catholic on Sept. 13. Head coach John Calipari may come that day, or Sept. 18 or 21.

Roberson is also considering Rutgers, Florida and Villanova.
