A report on an Indiana blog says it’s down to Indiana and Villanova, but Largo (Md.) head coach Lewis Howard said Seton Hall is still involved.
“They’re still in the mix,” he said Tuesday by phone.
The 6-foot-11, 210-pound Sutton visited Villanova and Indiana last week, and enjoyed both visits, Howard said.
“I move on His terms, to be honest with you,” Sutton told Chris Korman of HoosiersHQ.com. “God hasn’t opened up and led me yet.”
The NCAA late signing period ends Wednesday.
“I’m just going to wait on the answer,” Sutton told Korman. “I’ve put my faith in Him in all things with my life, and that’s what I’m going to continue to do.”
With the recent commitments of Jamel Jackson and Melvyn “Big Mel” Oliver, Seton Hall still has a scholarship available for Sutton or forward Mike Glover, who was ruled academically ineligible last season.
Pirates head coach Bobby Gonzalez will meet Wednesday with the team’s beat writers to discuss a number of topics, including his recruiting class.
