Dwayne Morgan, one of the top prospects in the Class of 2014, will announce April 5 at Baltimore St. Frances, his AAU coach, Dwayne Wise, confirmed to SNY.tv.

The news was first reported by Scout.com.

Wise said the 6-foot-8 Morgan is considering Arizona, Georgetown, Maryland, UNLV, Indiana, USF, Seton Hall and UConn.

“He will cut it to three in a week or so,” Wise told SNY.tv.

Morgan will visit Maryland Wednesday for the North Carolina game and may also take a trip to Arizona later this month, Wise confirmed.

“He will be an impact freshman wherever he chooses,” Wise said. “He has a high motor with great athleticism as a wing forward. He can also keep a defense honest with a jumper out to 22 feet. He is working extensively on his mid-post game and ball-handling. He’s already a solid defender and a shot-blocker. I think he will be a mismatch for smaller wings at the next level.”
