Notre Dame won the Maui Invitational with an impressive comeback against Wichita State.

The Fighting Irish didn’t fare as well against another top 10 team, leading a shuffling at the top half of The Associated Press Top 25 poll .

Duke (10-0) received all 65 first-place votes in the poll released Monday after a pair of easy victories, its second straight week as the unanimous No. 1. The next three spots also remained the same from last week: Kansas, Michigan State and Villanova.

Notre Dame was No. 5 last week, but dropped to No. 9 following its 81-63 loss to the Spartans.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski saw how tired his team was Wednesday night.

    He heard it, too.

Fortunately for the Blue Devils, Marvin Bagley III and Grayson Allen still had enough energy to persevere.

Bagley scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Allen had 21 points and No. 1 Duke used a late scoring run to fend off pesky Indiana 91-81 in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

“When you’re tired, especially guys when they’re tired, they don’t talk,” Krzyzewski said. “They talk to themselves and that’s how we played most of the game. We wanted to win but we were in ‘This is what I have to do instead of what we have to do.'”

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Marvin Bagley III had a simple explanation for No. 1 Duke’s incredible late rally against No. 7 Florida.

“We just have heart,” the 6-foot-11 freshman sensation said. “That’s pretty much all it is.”

Bagley had 30 points and 15 rebounds, and the Blue Devils came back from a 17-point deficit with 10 minutes left to beat the Gators 87-84 on Sunday night for the Motion Bracket championship at the Phil Knight Invitational tournament.

Fellow freshman Gary Trent Jr., who had a pair of free throws that pulled the Blue Devils (8-0) in front and a key steal in the final moments, finished with 15 points.
