  • The Knicks have received calls from multiple teams regarding 7-foot-3 big man Kristaps Porzingis, a team source told ZAGSBLOG.

The source said Philadelphia, Phoenix and San Antonio have called regarding Porzingis. The Daily News also reported that Boston contacted the Knicks.

Philadelphia (No. 1), Boston (3) and Phoenix (4) all hold higher draft position than the Knicks, who pick at No. 8 in Thursday’s NBA Draft. The Knicks were previously linked to a potential trade with Portland, which holds three first-round picks.

The Vertical first reported that President Phil Jackson was not opposed to trading Porzingis and also that Jackson met Monday in New York with Arizona’s Lauri Markkanen, a 7-footer who has drawn some comparisons to Porzingis.

“I can probably say I went to dinner,” Markkanen told Yaron Weitzman of Bleacher Report. “I had to try to some steak in New York.”

Asked if he’s annoyed by the Porzingis comparisons, Markkanen said: “A little bit, but I know why it’s there, the comparisons, European guys who can shoot. It’s a great honor for me, to be compared to those guys, but I don’t like to talk about it too much.”

It remains unclear if Markkanen would still be available at No. 8. DraftExpress.com currently projects him at No. 7 to Minnesota.

The Knicks are targeting guards and wings, including Frank Ntilikina of France, Dennis Smith Jr. of N.C. State, Malik Monk of Kentucky and Donovan Mitchell of Louisville, who was slated to work out Wednesday, per a source.

CAMDEN, N.J. — The Golden State Warriors may be scaring the rest of the NBA with the way they space the floor and snipe from downtown, but the Knicks are still emphasizing the old triangle offense.

Just ask a couple of former Oregon players who recently worked out for Phil Jackson’s club.

“The Knicks, oh yeah, they actually went through the triangle probably 45 [minutes] to an hour,” former Oregon and Villanova guard Dylan Ennis said Thursday at the Philadelphia 76ers workout facility. “They did progressions to it, but it’s an offense that works and I picked it up real fast. That’s what they liked about me. That’s what a six-year guard will do, man. You give me an offense, I’ll pick it up real fast.”

The Knicks on Monday worked out  Duke sophomore shooting guard Luke Kennard, per a source.

The 6-foot-6 Kennard is a natural scorer who averaged 19.5 points and 5.1 rebounds last season at Duke. During his high school career at Franklin (Ohio), Kennard passed LeBron James on the Ohio High School Athletic Association career scoring list.

“Luke’s skill set is such a perfect fit for the way the NBA game has evolved and we’re all excited to see him flourish at the next level,” Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said when he made his decision to go pro. “He is a wonderful person who will immediately be an asset to an NBA team.”

Former Louisville shooting guard Donovan Mitchell is expected to work out for the Knicks on Wednesday, a source told ZAGSBLOG.

Mitchell has worked out for Sacramento, which owns the No. 5 and 10 picks, and will work out Monday (today) for Dallas, which picks at No. 9.

The 6-foot-3 Mitchell, a native of Elmsford, N.Y., averaged 15.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists last season at Louisville. He’s currently projected as the No. 12 pick to the Detroit Pistons via Draft Express. The site currently has the Knicks taking Monk at No. 8.

N.C. State point guard Dennis Smith Jr. is in New York and will work out for the Knicks on Wednesday, a source told ZAGSBLOG.

The Knicks pick at No. 8 in the June 22nd NBA Draft and are in need of a lead guard.

Knicks President Phil Jackson said at the NBA Draft Combine that his team was looking for “guards and wings.”

The Knicks could be in the mix for several guards, including Smith Jr.,  Kentucky’s Malik Monk or French product Frank Ntilikina, who could be a good fit in the triangle offense.
