  • Call it a “Big Baller Bullseye.”

Reggie Miller says his fellow UCLA product Lonzo Ball will have a “huge bullseye” on his back once he enters the NBA because of all the controversial comments his father Lavar Ball has made.

“Absolutely, I know if I was playing I would go after that kid,” Miller said on ESPN’s ‘Pardon the Interruption.’ “Absolutely.

“His father, with his mouth, he’s going to have to cash a lot of checks for that. Absolutely, so yes. I know if I was in the league and I heard all this, ‘Oh, you’re better than Steph [Curry], you’re better than LeBron [James]. Yes, absolutely. Huge bullseye. Huge.”

The Lakers pick at No. 2 in the NBA Draft on June 22nd and the Ball Camp has made it clear to everyone who will listen that they want Lonzo to play in L.A. under Magic Johnson’s leadership and for coach Luke Walton.

Following UCLA’s 97-80 win over Kent State on Friday night, UCLA freshman point guard Lonzo Ball was asked about his mother’s health while on the podium.

    Here’s the interaction:

    Q. Lonzo, there was a report that your mom suffered a stroke. I just want to know if that was the case and how you’re holding up if that’s the case?

LONZO BALL: I got no comment on that, man. It’s a family thing.

The question apparently stemmed from a report from the site armchairallamericans.com  which quoted an anonymous member of the Ball family as saying Tina Ball had suffered a stroke.

LaVar Ball isn’t backing down from Charles Barkley.

Or from his strong support of his son, Lonzo.

“If Charles thought like me, maybe he’d win a Championship,” the elder Ball said on the Colin Cowherd radio show.

Barkley had earlier chimed in on LaVar Ball’s recent comments about his son.

“Just because you say some s—, doesn’t make it right,” Barkley said. “He’s gonna be better than Steph Curry? That’s what he said. Steph Curry has won a couple MVPs, he’s pretty good. Man, let me tell you something. That’s that AAU s—. You can’t say a guy is going to be better than Steph Curry, a guy who has played 30 college games. I know you can be proud of your son, but at some point, it becomes stupidity.”
